Hanover College Response

March 6, 2012

This past weekend we were very fortunate that Hanover College, the town of Hanover, and the city of Madison, Ind., were not hit by one of the many tornadoes in this area. Some of our neighbors were not so fortunate. The nearby towns of Chelsea, Ind. (7 miles away); Nabb, Ind. (16 miles away); Marysville, Ind. (18 miles away); Henryville, Ind. (30 miles away); New Pekin, Ind. (46 miles away); and across the bridge in Milton, Ky., (8 miles away) suffered severe damage and some loss of life. A few of our students come from these areas and were affected by the destruction.
