The following Library of Congress Subject Headings may be used when searching PantherCAT, WorldCat, or other library catalogs:

You may also subdivide other subject headings by time period, as in the following examples:

And don't forget that you can do a subject search on people by name:

Scholarly Literature

The primary scholarly source for journal articles in Anthropology is SocIndex with Full Text, available through the EBSCOhost system.

A secondary source available to you is AnthroSource. While we do not have subscription access to AnthroSource, the database is open for citation searching. You can use the SFX Citation Linker to determine if print or electronic full text is available for citations found through AnthroSource.

Additional scholarly articles in Anthropology/Sociology can be found in Academic Search Premier, JSTOR, and Project MUSE.
