We want you to be an informed voter! This guide will include resources aimed at helping you make educated decisions in the upcoming national and local elections.

Please let us know if you need any assistance in researching Election 2008's candidates and issues.

 

It's On!

Did you know? All Indiana voters can cast early ballots in person at county election offices until noon on Nov. 3. Check with your local county clerk or board of elections for more information.

Election Day is November 4, 2008.

 

Voter Registration Information

The deadline for voter registration in Indiana was October 6.

In person registration (Indiana residents):

You may register at the County Courthouse in downtown Madison.

You can also register at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles - the Madison branch's hours & location are available at the Indiana BMV website.

You must be a U.S. citizen. Bring a state-issued photo ID with your address on it (driver's license, bank statement, bill, etc.)

Out-of-state students:

If you are a resident of another state attending Hanover College, you must either vote absentee to your home state, or change your permanent residence to Indiana. More information is available from the Indiana Secretary of State.
