Hosted by the University of Michigan, use this search engine to find digital files that aren't easily accessible by traditional internet search engines. More than 19 million text, data sets, image, audio, and video files from over 1,000 authoritative contributors such as the Library of Congress.
The search interface is simple and intuitive with options for limiting searches to specific file types as well as sorting results as shown in the example picture below.

The oldest catalog on the web. Started by the guy who invented HTML coding and now run by volunteers. Search engine performance is suspect so stick to browsing categories.
